“I will be to her a wall of fire all around, declares the LORD, and I will be the glory in her midst.”

- Zechariah 2:5

Catherine Erickson is a deeply rooted lover of Jesus. She is married to Luke, who is a firefighter and is the mother to their three incredible boys. Catherine and Luke currently reside in southern California and serve as leaders and overseers of Newsong House church, an expanding network of micro-churches. With a heart to see others deepen their relationship with God, she has served in non-profit organizations, ministries, and churches in California, Mexico, South Africa, and England. She is a gifted writer, a bold reformer, a prophetic dreamer, and a prophetic voice. As a nurturing mentor, she passionately calls others into their true identity. Catherine’s primary strength lies in coming alongside others as they pursue growth in the gift of prophecy, fostering healthy prophetic communities within families and churches.

“Daily intimacy, intentionality and inspiration with Jesus provides the space to pursue a life ignited.”

“I will be to her a wall of fire around her.”

Somehow along the way, I thought that being a wife, mom, and ministry leader were supposed to look pretty and perfect. So far in my 40 years of life, this is what I have seen conveyed. Through tears, vulnerability, and a whole lot of mud I finally started to see and believe what the Lord was speaking over me and my life. Through a lot of yielding and honestly getting out of my way, I learned that daily intimacy, intentionality, and inspiration in the Word of God and with Jesus are the keys to pursuing a life where I am daily present and ignited for God’s heart.
